Ok, I admit it. DJing is more of a hobby to me than anything else. It all started one night at a night club when I asked the DJ "so how do you do that?" With a little patience, a little practice, and a lot of music, I was already cutting my own mixes within a few months. DJ "E Z - A" was born.
My fascination with
Freestyle
has been there ever since I could remember. The hard part was....I
knew the music, but I didn't know it was called freestyle.
This was in the days of Shannon, Debbie Deb, Noel through Sweet Sensation.
As the 90's approached, I came to know the word "freestyle." What
a coincidence! It just happened to be the music that I considered
my bread & butter and learned to love all these years! After
that, I dove head-first into all the freestyle I could find...Corina, Stevie
B, Lisette Melendez, George Lamond, TKA, and others. The problem
was...freestyle was really hard to find.
Hard maybe, but not impossible.
Now, it seems freestyle continues to make
a comeback with the help from artists like Angelina, Joselyn Enriquez,
Jossette, MG, etc... Here's to FREESTYLE!!! And
keep on Jammin'.
